Pianist Terrence Wilson has established a reputation as one of today’s most gifted instrumentalists. He has given concerto performances with many prestigious ensembles, including the symphony orchestras of Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and St. Louis. Also an active recitalist, he has performed at the 92nd Street Y in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Wilson has received numerous awards and prizes, including the SONY ES Award for Musical Excellence, an Avery Fischer Career Grant, and Juilliard’s Petschek Award. Wilson will perform Preludes from Book 1 by Claude Debussy, Andante and Variations in F minor, Hob.XVII:6 by Franz Joseph Haydn, Funérailles (from Harmonies poétiques et religieuses) by Franz Liszt, Sonata in A minor, D. 784 by Franz Schubert, and Sonata, Op. 26 by Samuel Barber.
