Committee on the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives Program (ACWA Program Committee)

The ACWA Program Committee draws on the scientific and technical expertise of its members to help define and develop prospective studies and other projects at the NRC which bear upon planning and development issues related to the ACWA Program. The committee may provide oversight of NRC approved activities conducted under its auspices.
The committee will interact with the sponsor, specifically the Program Director in the Office of the Program Manager for Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (PMACWA), and other ACWA program staff, to exchange information, to become adequately informed on planning and developments within the ACWA Program, and to discuss and define prospective studies to be performed by separately appointed ad hoc NRC committees at the National Academies.
