The National Research Council held a public workshop to explore current training and practices of intelligence analysts, with a consideration of current scientific evidence that might improve those practices. Distinguished speakers included Lt. Gen. Brent Scowcroft, USAF (Ret.), former National Security Advisor to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush, and Dr. David Mandel, Defense Research and Development Canada.
