Corinne Zimmerman is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at Illinois State University. Previously, she was a postdoctoral research associate at the Learning Research and Development Center (LRCD) at the University of Pittsburgh, where she worked with Dr. Robert Glaser. Her dissertation research was co-supervised by Dr. Michael R. W. Dawson and Dr. Gay Bisanz. Dr. Zimmerman’s research focuses on scientific literacy and the development of scientific reasoning. Her review of research on children’s scientific reasoning appeared in Developmental Review (2000). Dr. Zimmerman completed her Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Alberta.
