Arthur J. Lidsky, AICP, has been President of Dober, Lidsky, Craig and Associates, Inc. (DLC+A) for the past fourteen years, and a planning consultant for colleges and universities for the past thirty years. For the three years prior to his consulting assignments, he was Assistant Director of Long-Range Planning for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Lidsky has served on facility review panels for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and has been a PI for a NSF study that identified the ideal planning process and developed facility standards for secondary school science, math and technology education programs. He has given lectures, presentations, and invited papers on campus and facility planning at the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), Council for Undergraduate Research (CUR), International Association for College Unions, No Name Facility Conference, Quality Education for Minorities Network (QEM), and the Municipal Art Society of New York. He is a former member of the Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) Steering Committee for Workshops on Facilities for Undergraduate Science and Mathematics.

He recently completed facility programs for a Life Sciences building at Syracuse University and an Environmental Sciences building at Colgate University. He is leading space utilization and space allocation studies for Columbia University, Cornell University, Suffolk University, and the University of Hong Kong. He is also developing facility programs for two new campuses: the Aga Khan University in Pakistan, and the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh – and has completed the programming for the new American University in Cairo campus.
