Benjamin Feldman is the Research, Evaluation, and Accountability Officer for the Baltimore City Public School System. In this capacity, he directs the Division of Research, Evaluation, Assessment, and Accountability (DREAA). DREAA is responsible for institutional and external research, program evaluation, student assessment, and other activities that support system accountability. Dr. Feldman is involved in test development and delivery, IRT studies, formative assessment programs, benchmarks, data unification projects, warehouse design and planning, high stakes program evaluations and enrollment projections. He also supports Fair Pupil Funding, and gives guidance and support for the Department of Community and Public Relations. Dr. Feldman has been involved in the Baltimore City Public School System for over 30 years as a teacher, technical coordinator, principal investigator and billing director. He received his Ed.D. from Morgan State University and his MLA from Johns Hopkins University.
