Jill Morningstar is an Education Policy Advisor for the Committee on Education and Labor. Prior to joining the Committee, Jill was a Senior Policy Associate at the Earl Warren Institute for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity and before that, the Co-Director of Education and Youth Development at the Children’s Defense Fund. Jill has also worked as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Paul Wellstone and Representative Barney Frank and as the Director of American Advocacy at the Israel Association for Ethiopian Jews in Jerusalem. Jill earned a Masters in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley and graduated from Harvard College.
