Physics Survey Overview Committee
The Physics Survey Overview Committee (PSOVC) is preparing a synthesis of the volumes of Physics in a New Era, a series of studies of the sub-fields of physics. The PSOVC will formulate conclusions about the field as a whole and make recommendations about the future of physics. More background on the Overview (including a detailed discussion of its objectives as formulated by the Board on Physics and Astronomy) may be found in the discussion of Phase III of Physics in a New Era. When the Overview has been published, the physics survey will be complete.
Physics in a New Era
In addition to the Overview volume, Physics in a New Era includes studies of the various branches of physics (as well as reports on some special topics).
