Neutrino Facilities Assessment Committee
- In a letter to Bruce Alberts, Chairman of the National Research Council, OSTP Director John H. Marburger requested a review of "proposed U.S. neutrino collectors in the context of current and planned neutrino research capabilities throughout the world."
- Dr. Alberts' letter in response to Mr. Marburger proposes that the BPA conduct the review.
- The BPA plans to nominate a committee to carry out the assessment.
- A proposal for support of the committee's work is under consideration at the National Science Foundation.
