Toni Bickart is Vice President and editor in chief at Teaching Strategies, Inc. She has co-authored several books including Building the Primary Classroom and Reading Right from the Start. She is also a contributing author of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool. She has taught in public schools and has served as a teacher mentor in the D.C. Public School System. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University.
