Catherine Emihovich
Catherine Emihovich (Ph.D., SUNY Buffalo) is Dean of the College of Education at the University of Florida. She previously served as Dean of the College of Education at California State University – Sacramento, and has held academic positions at SUNY Buffalo, Florida State University, and the University of South Carolina. She has published over 50 papers and monographs in the areas of culture and education, school-based integrated services, qualitative research methods, and teacher education. Her books include Transforming Schools and Schools of Education; Sex, Kids, and Politics: Health Services in Schools, and Locating Learning: Ethnographic Perspectives on Classroom Research. She also served as an evaluation consultant for the Educational Testing Service, the Getty Foundation, state and federal agencies, and K-12 school districts.
