Glenn Firebaugh

Glenn Firebaugh is Professor of Sociology and Demography and Head of the Sociology Department at Pennsylvania State University. From 1997-2000 (the Millenium issue of 2000) he served as Editor of the American Sociological Review. He is best known for his work in the areas of global stratification, statistical methods, and social demography. His book The New Geography of Global Income Inequality was recently published by Harvard University Press (Spring 2003).
