Random Assignment Experimentation in Education:
Implementation and Implications

This workshop engaged researchers and practitioners involved in randomized trials in education in a discussion about how to promote its appropriate use within the current policy context. This workshop attempted to answer what kinds of questions can and cannot be addressed well by this method, and what are the practical constraints, opportunities, and benefits of utilizing them in educational settings. Researchers and educators discussed these important issues and highlighted ways to encourage the appropriate use of this tool.
