MARYE ANNE FOX

Marye Anne is the M. June and J. Virgil Waggoner Regents Chair in Chemistry and Vice President for Research at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include physical organic chemistry; organic photochemistry; organic electrochemistry; chemical reactivity in non-homogeneous systems; heterogeneous photocatalysis; and electronic transfer in anisotropic macromolecular arrays. Marye Anne has been a National Science Board member since 1991. She is also the Vice Chairman of the NSB, is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the NAS Council, and is a former member of the Committee on Support of Federal Research and Development. Dr. Fox has over 320 research publications.
