The FFC's Strategic Vision is to increase its services to the sponsor agencies by becoming:
- An important source of available information on federal facilities-related programs and standards for use by federal agencies in planning, designing, constructing, operating, maintaining, managing, and disposing of buildings and other constructed facilities.
- The primary forum where federal agency personnel responsible for facility engineering and management policies meet among themselves and with representatives of professional societies and trade associations to identify and discuss common problems and coordinate related activities.
- The primary mechanism through which agencies jointly sponsor studies and research related to all aspects of facilities management.
