The National Academies rely on private funding -- from individuals, companies, foundations, and other philanthropies -- to initiate key studies and projects that are important for the future well-being of our society. Work funded by private sources is conducted according to the same strict, rigorous, and impartial processes that guide every National Academies activity.
Private funding also allows the Academies to share their knowledge with people in communities, businesses, health care facilities, and academic institutions.
The Office of Development is here to answer your questions and help you help the National Academies, so please Contact Us.
