Nelson Mandela Day

70 yrs UDHR logo

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948, this year the CHR will be sharing stories of scientists, engineers, and health professionals who have used their expertise to promote and protect human rights. On various internationally-recognized days over the course of the year, we will focus on different rights enshrined in the UDHR.
