Dioxins and Dioxin-like Compounds in the Food Supply: Strategies to Decrease Exposure
A new report from the Institute of Medicine, Dioxins and Dioxin-like Compounds in the Food Supply: Strategies to Decrease Exposure, recommends policy options to reduce exposure to Dioxin and dioxin-like compounds, while also considering how implementing these options could both reduce health risks and affect nutrition, particularly in sensitive and highly exposed groups.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on July 1, 2003 and can be found, in full text, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
