In response to a request from Congress in PL 106-398, this new letter report advises the U.S. Department of Energy on cleanup of radioactive waste at a former uranium mill in Utah.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on June 13, 2002 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
