A Sustainable National Program for Travel Data
This new report, from the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, assesses current practices for collecting passenger and freight travel data at the federal, state, and local levels and recommends an affordable strategy for future collection of, and funding for, travel data programs.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on March 15, 2011 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
