Advancing Scientific Research in Education
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2002 requires that scientifically based education research drive the use of federal funds at the state and local levels. This report, the final in a series, recommends ways to promote improvements in scientific education research.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on October 7, 2004 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
