NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) faces serious challenges to the innovative use of its research results. This new report from the National Research Council offers NASA guidance on prioritizing its aeronautics research portfolio, managing the transfer of technology to external users, and implementing flexible personnel- and financial-management practices.
