Air Quality Management in the United States
Requested by Congress in P.L. 106-74, this new report from the National Academies examines the role of science and technology in the implementation of the Clean Air Act and recommends ways in which the scientific and technical foundations for air quality management in the United States can be enhanced.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on January 29, 2004 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
