Sustainable Development of Algal Biofuels
This new report, from the National Academies, examines concerns associated with large-scale deployment of algal biofuels -- a renewable fuel produced from microalgae and cyanobacteria -- and potential strategies for mitigating those concerns.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on October 24, 2012 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
