From Foreign Assistance to Sustainable Partnerships
The aim of this Department of Defense program is to help prevent the proliferation of expertise and technologies that could contribute to the development of biological weapons. This report, requested by Congress in P.L. 109-364, assesses the program and recommends ways to strengthen its activities.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on September 10, 2007 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
