Child and Adolescent Health and Health Care Quality:
Measuring What Matters
Requested by Congress in P.L. 111-3, this new report from the National Academies provides guidance to Congress on efforts to measure the health status of children and adolescents and the quality of their care ranging from preventive care, treatments for acute conditions, and treatments aimed at relieving or correcting physical, mental, and developmental conditions.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on April 25, 2011 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
