Controlling the Quantum World
This new report identifies research questions that could be addressed by atomic, molecular, and optical science, a scientific field that could help us find new sources of energy, improve health care, and defend against terrorism. The report also looks at recent accomplishments in this discipline and identifies future work force and educational needs.
