Review of the Department of Energy’s Genomics: GTL Program
This new report from the National Academies reviews the Department of Energy's (DoE) Genomics: GTL program. It examines whether the program is scientifically tailored to DOE's efforts in energy technology development and environmental remediation, whether the program's investment strategy leverages DOE's expertise, and aspects of the program that have the highest ratio of scientific benefit to cost.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on February 22, 2006 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
