Ecological Dynamics on Yellowstone's Northern Range

This new report from the National Research Council's Committee on Ungulate Management in Yellowstone National Park looks at the management of elk and bison populations in and around Yellowstone, paying particular attention to the ecological effects these animals have on rangeland grazed by cattle.

This series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on March 26, 2002 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
