Food Insecurity and Hunger in the United States: An Assessment of the Measure
This study, from The National Academies, reviews the concepts and methods for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s current measurement of food insecurity and hunger in the U.S. population in terms of its monitoring, evaluation, and related research purposes, as well as their validity and utility for informing public policy.
