This new report from the National Academies evaluates the last five years of NASA's Applied Science Program, the division that collects remote sensing data and generates scientific models for public and private organizations. The report examines how NASA extends its research results to practical, societal applications, as well as rates the success of collaboration between NASA and partner agencies in helping them meet their decision-support goals.
