This new report, from the National Academies, assesses the White House Office of Management and Budget's recently proposed guidance for federal agencies on how to conduct risk assessments upon which many regulatory decisions are based.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on January 11, 2007 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
