On Evaluating Curricular Effectiveness:
Judging the Quality of K-12 Mathematics Evaluations
This new report from the National Academies examines whether currently available data can be used to accurately gauge the effectiveness of 19 math curriculum programs, including six packages now on the market and several projects that were developed with financial support from the National Science Foundation.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on May 18, 2004 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
