This new study, from the Institute of Medicine, identifies barriers that hinder better integration between primary care and public health and recommends strategies to foster greater interaction and support. The report highlights case examples from specific cities that illustrate successful integration.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on March 28, 2012 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
