Requested by Congress in P.L. 106-541, this third in a series of biennial reports reviews progress made by the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan -- a multibillion dollar federal-state effort to preserve the Florida Everglades -- since the Research Council's last report in 2008.
This series of briefings was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on September 23, 2010 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Website of the National Academies Press.
