This new National Academies’ report, requested by Congress in P.L. 109-115, evaluates research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on subjects such as the effectiveness of housing voucher programs, discrimination in housing, and economic activities in urban areas.
This briefing was for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on September 24, 2008 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
