A Review of the FBI's Trilogy Information Technology Modernization Program
In response to a request for advice by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) this new report from the National Academies assesses the FBI's current efforts to renew its information technology infrastructure in order to make law enforcement more efficient and counterterrorism efforts more effective.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on May 11, 2004 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
