This new report from The National Academies assesses and prioritizes the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Nuclear Energy's five programs -- Nuclear Power 2010, Generation IV reactor development, Nuclear Hydrogen Initiative, Global Nuclear Energy Partnership, and the program to upgrade facilities at the Idaho National Laboratory.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on October 29, 2007 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
