Veterans and Agent Orange: Update 1998

A new report from the Institute of Medicine entitled, Veterans and Agent Orange: Update 1998, brings earlier scientific evidence up to date and addresses the relationship between various diseases and exposure to Agent Orange and dioxin. The mandate for this study originated in Public Law 102-4 which tasked the National Academies to conduct a series of biennial updates.

This briefing was for Members of Congress and/or congressional staff. The report was publicly released on February 11, 1999.
