Ken F. Kobetsky

Ken F. Kobetsky is the Program Director for Engineering for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) in Washington, DC. Mr. Kobetsky currently serves as liaison for AASHTO’s Standing Committee of Highways (SCOH), and Standing Committee on Research (SCOR) plus several other subcommittees.

Mr. Kobetsky has been with AASHTO thirteen plus years and has more than 30+ additional years of experience with a state highway agency in traffic operations, design and construction. He has BSCE,a MSE and is a P.E.

Mr. Kobetsky was the past chairs the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for 14 years, and Member Emeritus of the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Traffic Control Devices and also active on many technical committees of the Transportation Research Board.
