Advisers & Sponsors
For Approved Advisers, guidelines are available to facilitate the role of a Research Adviser in the NRC Research Associateship Programs This role is similar to that of a major professor to a postdoctoral fellow at a major research university. For a Senior Research Associate, the relationship with an Adviser is that of a
professional colleague.
For Potential Advisers, forms, instructions, criteria, guidelines, etc. are available to facilitate application to/nomination for NRC-approved Adviser role. This role is similar to that of a major professor to a postdoctoral fellow at a major research university. For a Senior Research Associate, the relationship with an Adviser is that of a professional colleague.
For Participating Laboratories (Sponsors), guidelines and the base-stipend increase form are available to support current sponsors/agencies’ participation.
For Potential Participant Laboratories (Sponsors), forms, instructions, criteria, guidelines, etc. are available to facilitate federal agencies, research laboratories/centers, or other federal research entities that may be interested in becoming sponsors of a NRC Research Associateship Program.
