The National Academies STEP program, in collaboration with the SUNY Levin Graduate Institute, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the Urban Institute, and Athena Alliance, hosted a successful two day conference comparing and contrasting the two countries’ growing science and technology capacity, broadly and in key industrial sectors such as software, hardware, biopharmaceuticals, automobiles, aerospace, and energy.
