David Dierkshiede

Mr. Dierksheide received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from George Washington University. He joined the staff of the National Academies’ Board on Science, Technology, and Economic Policy in 1999, left to complete a Masters in Science in comparative social policy at Oxford University, and returned to STEP Board in 2002. Prior to his work with the National Academies he served as an assistant information officer at the Delegation of the European Commission in Washington, D.C. and as a political affairs consultant at the Dutko Communications Strategies Group.
