International Workshop on Crop Modeling

In March 1992, the Director of the USNC/CODATA organized and chaired an international workshop on crop modeling of arid and semi-arid regions in developing countries, which was sponsored by the CODATA Commission on Global Change Data. A book based on individual author contributions from the workshop, entitled Crop Modeling and Related Environmental Data: A Focus on Applications for Arid and Semi-Arid Regions in Developing Countries, was prepared under the direction of the USNC/CODATA staff and was published by CODATA in March 1994.
