Who We Are…
The U.S. National Committee for the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (USNC/IUPAC) represents the interests of the U.S. chemical sciences community in the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).

Committee Activities
The Young Observer Program
The Young Observer Program (YO) provides partial financial support for young U.S. scientists and engineers (under the age of 45) to participate in the IUPAC General Assembly and Congress. The program affords young scientists an opportunity to participate in IUPAC activities as U.S. representatives, collaborate internationally and gain knowledge of global research activities. Learn more about the YO Program…
IUPAC Company Associates Program
The IUPAC Company Associates Program affords industries the opportunity to participate in IUPAC’s policy and direction. Funding from Company Associates enable activities which:
+ Maintain a strong industrial direction to IUPAC activities.
+ Address critical industrial chemical issues on an international scale.
+ Foster a future community of chemists by engaging younger scientists as part of the Young Observer Program.
+ Strengthen international relationships with other member countries.
