The U.S. Liaison Committee (USLC) for the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) is the mechanism through which the U.S. physics community participates in IUPAP. The committee promotes the advancement and dissemination of physics on an international level and represents the United States in IUPAP. It carries out such duties as required of a liaison committee under the statutes of IUPAP. The National Academy of Sciences is the U.S. adhering body to the IUPAP, which is a member of the International Council for Science (ICSU).

IUPAP Workshop on Scientific Misconduct
Scientific Misconduct and the Role of Physics Journals in its Investigation and Prevention
, an IUPAP workshop, was held 13-14 October 2003 in London, UK. The workshop explored journals’ role in publication misconduct.

 
 
 


 


International Visitors Office, a BISO program, provides information on the visa process for scientists coming to the United States for meetings or exchanges.
