VEF Homepage

The Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) is an independent federal agency created by the U.S. Congress. With administrative support from the National Academies Fellowship Office, the VEF brings talented Vietnamese nationals to leading U.S. universities for graduate and post-graduate training in science, engineering and technology. The goal is to strengthen the U.S.-Vietnam bilateral relationship through educational exchanges in science and technology. The VEF Fellowship competition is open to Vietnamese nationals, including those already accepted and those not yet accepted into graduate programs. All applicants will be considered based on their past academic performance, intellectual capability, and scientific potential. The application periods and additional details about the program are available on the VEF website.
