Jonsson Center: Accommodations

Woods Hole is a resort area and prices for housing accommodations fluctuate according to season. Arrangements for housing should be made well in advance of arrival. There are a number of properties in the Falmouth and Woods Hole area than can provide comfortable accommodations for those attending meetings at the Center. Beach and Swimming
Participants may swim during the day from the Center's dock. Swimming is limited to participants in Jonsson Center activities only and is not permitted after 6:00 p.m. Swimmers are requested to use the rear entrance of the main house when attired in beach wear.

Recreation
There are numerous public beaches in the Falmouth/Woods Hole area. Other forms of recreation in the area include boating, fishing, hiking, jogging, golf, tennis, water sports, horseback riding and sightseeing. Good theatre is available featuring drama, live musicals and films. In July and August, band concerts are performed at the Falmouth Marina on Thursday evenings. Free admission tickets to Heritage Plantation of Sandwich are also available. Information about recreation will be available at the Receptionist desk in the lobby.
