Jonsson Center: Second Floor

The second floor is comprised of two large meeting rooms, four smaller office or meeting rooms and administrative offices.

Manager's Office
Previously a bedroom and adjoining the nanny's room, this room now functions as the manager's office. Each room in the house has a water view, and this room is no exception.

Administrative Office
This room now serves as the hub of administrative requirements for the Center and is the office of the facilities manager, and the conference assistant.

Rooms 202 and 206
These rooms were guest rooms or bedrooms for the children when they were older. They now function comfortably as small meeting rooms. The original character and architectural integrity of the rooms was carefully maintained as you will note in the detail of the molding and the careful recessing of the added electrical outlets to provide for the required equipment.

Room 208
Originally the master bedroom, this room is now used as a conference room in the main building and can seat up to 24 conference style; 40 theater style. Typical audio-visual equipment is provided in any room and includes projectors, overheads, recorders, and VCR's, as well as the standard meeting supplies.

Copy Center (Room 203)
The Center maintains two high capacity copy machines; one in Room 203 and one in the Carriage House. Computers are provided for use by committee participants and support staff. Standard software as provided in the Washington, D.C. facilities is provided for consistency and efficiency of operation. Electronic communication is available by fax machine and email.
